Back to mumbrella
Aran had taken a whole fish away at 10.20, and he returned at 11.04. 5F greeted him with chirrups and grabbed it. Aran flew off
I think she began feeding the chicks.
I think it was a fair feed, but the vid is stop-start-stop all the time. Neither continued to beg for food for long. It was sufficient. 5F persisted, and what I think is probably #1 reacted sat up, but in her enthusiasm I think she pushed the head back to the nest floor, or it changed its mind. They both remained flat at 11.13 and 5F fed herself.
Another feed for #1, while #2 sleeps
11.23 both chicks flat out, 5F creeps around to brood.
11.30 She moves a stick
11.32 Aran returns with soft furnishings and pushed it under 5F's nicely placed stick. Not leaving a hole for the young to fall ut!
He flew off just afterwards, possibly with the left over fish.
And that where she is at 12.10 - then she flew, and Aran flew in. What's he going to do!
5F returned almost immediately and looked above
Aran flew 12.14
It must be very warm today

This nest seems tiny when Dylan comes bowling in with sticks :o
Seren rolled a stick onto the chicks. #2 didn't get up much, not at this stage anyway:
That stick bashed the chicks - but this may not show up:
Seren's turn:
Seren may be nearly as mad as Dylan:
The second fish:
Both chicks up, but #2 kept going down again:
Stream finally went down @ 09:56, I got it going again 47 minutes ago but it's staggering along.
IMAGICAT
One bobblehead peeking out
13.01 A few seconds later a whole fish delivery!
Just before Carnyx took the cam, plus chat down. Whew!
I won't see the feed, but good to see another fish delivery. There will be plenty to go around
Thank you for the fish SHEILA - I am here with it now, what a waste of resources, I should have looked first.
Another waste is this silly snap:
I am completely exhausted, what with one thing and another - how many places "must" I announce this since we have no LG DU :'(
Dylan brought a stick and caused mayhem:
Then he brought his nice-looking half-fish but it was rejected so he flew off with it:
He brought it back again and this time it was welcomed and Seren fed the chicks:
There was still some of that fish left on the nest when Dylan brought another, bigger and better, headless one, and there was another, long, feed, and Seren fed herself too:
17:38 Dylan came and took the fish away:
18:19 the fish came back and went again :-/ Maybe Dylan was coming to show his presence in the face of intruders? I didn't see anything obvious:
A dusty-looking Seren at closing time, with only the (probably very dusty) tail-end of the earlier fish somewhere on the nest:
Thank You Scylla for the lovely round up once again.
I use the main Carnyx website to get to Llyn Clywedog, but so far this morning there is no link to the stream yet.
