IMAGICAT
Good morning all, Thank you, Mary, for sharing your personal pictures and video of your visits to LotL
11:12 Chipping heard, no Osprey visible
I've just scrolled back a minute or so prior to the 'chipping' and found a bird flying over the Loch - I couldn't make out whether it was an Osprey or not

Unknown said:Thanks Karen , sadly there were several at very end of recording I couldn't quite put my finger on - warblers. But most distinctly there were: a wood pigeon a robin a chaffinch a black cap a black bird and a chiff chaff. What did I miss please?
Hi Cirrus, was your post in reply to me, not Karen?
I relied on the bird names as highlighted on the LotL video so, unfortunately, I'm unable to help with your question
Edit - I've just caught up with the Manton Bay thread, I'm assuming you meant their quiz rather than this one?
15:11 An unringed female landed on the nest - a quick visit, 'chipped' and then flew off
Hello Korky, thank you
I can understand if essential work needs to be done, if indeed it was that, though it was quite late in the day. Saying that, as we've been informed, the mic pics up a whole range of sounds in the distance so possibly something going on at the nearby farm. Hopefully, they were other birds rather than the Ospreys in flight.
Unknown said:3 birds flew from right to left 'through the inlet'
The ones I found at the time you specify, KORKY, were flying right to left, from the Loch in thru the inlet - but I'm sure they're the same ones (you probably did a Scylla and got it back to front) and, as you say, not ospreys. I did a vid of the earlier 2 "fleeing" birds as well but it's shameful quality off my screen, however I can see that they're not ospreys either. So - no new osprey disturbances today?
The three:

Great captures and posts everyone, Sandra you have earned your Ms Marple title yet again
Another lovely morning on the loch (at the moment)
