I seen that too Sandra, he did a few shakes of his wings, then mantled but there didn't seem to be anyone around at that time.  

This was snipped at 08.47 shaking his wings, then he went over to edge of nest and mantled like you show in your cap above. 

Some really strange goings on.    Where has NC0 gone!   If she was around the loch somewhere you would have though she would have come to the nest during that 20 mins or so that Laddie was on it.   

Oh well I will go for a while and check back to see if anyone has captured her coming to the nest.

Any sense that they were doing fine and coming regularly to the nest before the last intrusion on Saturday? Maybe been spooked by that??

That could be a possibility, it's not been the same since then

Agree, something not quite right here for they're certainly not as settled as they were before the last incident. And it is concerning especially as NCO is due, if not overdue, to lay her first egg.

Good to see protection is in force 24/7 and hopefully this becomes widely known here and the disturbances stop.
