I keep lentils in but only use them to add to soup. Sometimes I go on the BBC Website because they have a recipe archive on there, with lots of the recipes used in their programmes laid out by whoever it was in the programme, but I think they also have a "Search" which you can use to find interesting ones.

Pat, I'm having a battle with Zoom at the moment. We began talking to our Eldest son & his daughter Amber on it a few days ago, after some instruction from him, but then we found that we lost the sound and we can't see where it went!

Picture of painting (which looks like a pen drawing) left to me by my dear friend G in her Will. Only hung it up the other day. It looks strange in a photo, but is of a cat in the bedclothes- I'd always admired it  and apparently she remembered.

PAT - I only use red lentils and use them in lentil and vegetable soup. I think that there is something called Dahl which is an Indian type food and very tasty. I have never made it, though.

Have only occasionally used lentils - and definitely only the red ones, not puy lentils (the greenish looking ones). Can't tell J a dish has lentils in!

A duller sky this afternoon. OH had to put and extra shelf in the shed for the hedge trimmer (we don't have any hedges - he said he would use it to trim the trees, but I think he forgot as he asked someone to do them!) He made room to store some of the greenhouse junk back in the shed where it belongs, and has got the propagator out ready to use. I have been mostly shuffling paperwork now my desk is clear from magazine stuff..

Grit lorry just been up.. plus 4 but as the clocks change tonight it’s his swan song .
Proud of youngest trying to look after her students and staff. Just had 10 litres of hand sanitizer delivered from the Conker Gin Company in Dorset. Hooray for FB where everyone is helping each other.
Loved the video Son in Sin sent it to me saying he was pleading the 5th amendment :-))

Another picture: this is one of my photographs taken on our 1st ever cruise, off the coast of Italy one evening. The sunsets were stunning, viewed over the waves.

I had it blown up, printed and framed to put in our dining room.
