I see from LDOP's Facebook Post dated 14 March that White 14 set off on this day, March 17 last year!  

We know from Chrisy that he was still on the island as of yesterday but I wonder what the next update will show!    I too wish him a safe journey home.  

Thank you so much for starting this thread. I had been gathering info to do the same, but was hoping for an update from Roudsea on ring numbers for last year's three chicks.

Sheila, unaware you were planning to start the thread - sorry!       With the news of White 14, I just started it off to have a record from the start of the season.  

About Roudsea Wood - last year there were 3 male chicks - Ring Nos 295, 296 & 297.  Info available on UK Osprey Ringing & Tagging

Hi, thanks for starting this thread.
I have had a look at my notes and remember some difficulty in getting the Roudsea Wood ring numbers. However it seems they are, for all three being males, Blue 285 286 287

OOps i seem to have got something wrong I will check my notes again!

Sorry about that, Karen is right for Roudsea, and the 'other' nest, non public, has 286, a M and 287 & 289 are F. The missing 288 is at Esthwaite nest 2. (Eel house)
