Here's hoping for a successful 2020 season.

Sandra first reported 2 birds on the nest at 19.12 on 4 April 2019. Louis and Aila were back! They laid 3 eggs, one failed, but we hope to see chicks Mallie and Rannoch - both female (although some doubt about Mallie) within a few years, maybe even next.

My morning shots - first the Robin, so early!
Then the blanketing mist about to clear:
Then just far off:
IMAGICAT
I wonder what could have digressed me this morning, cos I just found our Robin sitting in Snapshots folder still waiting to be posted. It did not return for a daycam singsong.
Good Morning All
Love light at Loch Arkaig at the moment.
Nice weather for maybe some early arrivals

Our morning serenader today. Not be seeing that for much longer (fingers crossed).
Loch Arkaig was on the Radio Four PM programme on 27 March. Below is a post from George Anderson about it. Ian Hi folks, Loch Arkaig was featured on Radio 4's PM programme this evening. We are at 25 minutes and 55 seconds on the playback. www.bbc.co.uk/.../m000gn6v
Thanks for posting that Ian. Nice that Louis and Aila get a mention :-)

And it did have a fuzzy singsong on the usual perch @ daycam too, 05:33:
Thank you for the BBC item, IAN :) I was intrigued that the announcer seemed to pronounce it "Loch Arkeeg", but the tour guide (who sounded American/Scottish/NIrish) said Arkaig with the emphasis on the first syllable.
Interesting story behind the "ghost pines". The lady gave a lovely talk, I thought.
I believe Evan Davis (I think it was him presenting) pronounced it all wrong (he intimated that he might have) & that the WT person had the correct pronunciation. I have previously heard George Anderson on Radio Scotland & he pronounced it in the same way as the person on the clip. Last year there was a discussion on the WT chat about the pronunciation of Aila. I am of the opinion it is like Ayla but others said it is like Eyela/Isla. I think the person on the clip said it as Isla, so maybe I am wrong in that regard. Ian
