HAPPY NEW WEEK and HAPPY FULL SUPER MOON!
The full moon is 9 March. I hope everyone has a wonderful week! It's warming up here! Yay!
Lindy: I hope you have a wonderful and healthy holiday. I also hope your OH will recover immediately and enjoy the trip. Safe travels.
Morning all:
OG: I wouldn't mind being laid to rest under a lilac tree, but not keen on cremation and I guess 'green' burials don't stretch to being planted in one's own garden. :-) I feel your (and J's) pain over the sweaters. I had a lovely wool one once; don't know how it happened but it shrank to the point where it would only have been good for a doll. Not sure OH was as impressed with Stan & Ollie as I was....
Lindybird: Maybe your OH could carry a face mask to wear on the plane in case he gets funny looks? I gather those simple ones are best for containing your own germs rather than avoiding anyone else's. What a kerfuffle. If I miss you again today - fingers crossed all goes well and that you can both relax and recover in the sun.
Rosy: What a shame your OH got sick and had to go through all that hassle.
PatO: Hope the drive wasn't too bad and that you enjoyed the visit with Charlie. How old is he? I forgot...
Lots of ballyhoo here about rain but the heavy stuff is behind schedule.....
Lindy you mentioning pets buried in gardens reminds me of when I sold the house In Surrey where we had buried a much love cat - Pepsi - who my son adored. One night when I was in bed and the sale was going through my mobile rang and it was my son whispering into his phone. I asked him what was up and where he was when he said he was back at the old family house saying Goodbye to Pepsi - he was 34 at the time! I said it was a miracle that our next-door neighbour hadn't called the police!
