Sad news indeed

Would this have been around the time the TV company arrived and the disturbance caused the family to abandon the nest?

Sheila I've just posted this on the LLyn Brenig & Clwyedog thread - hadn't realised it was on here.. This is about the time the disturbance started, but is an explanation of why the adults moved to a frustration nest site. It is complicating factor which may well mean that the police/CPS will conclude that they can't prove beyond reasonable doubt that the TV company is guilty of the disturbance.

I've just been checking thru recordings and am sad to say that Taps has been bullied and is not faring well at all.  I since checked Chat and there's been a lot of upset and dissent there, and the 'managers' of the cam announced that they were leaving the cam zoomed out (I'd wondered about that) to avoid showiing detail.

In the past I have covered bad/sad times but am not doing it for this nest.  I'll check now 'n then and report.

Thanks, Scylla, No problem at all about you easing off and I think many of us would not want to watch any bullying anyway, especially in these times when good news is more welcome than ever and bad news is worse than ever.

This was latish afternoon, after Taps had been under a "mild" attack - I didn't look for more.

Nighttime showed Taps surviving.

It's such a shame that fish hasn't been plentiful enough to allow the 2 elders to be stuffed so that Taps can get a peaceful feed, but as we have seen, the waters are often choppy-to-rough, it can't be easy for Dad.

Taps has died.  In my last completed 6-hour clip its body can clearly be seen, I'm not checking back.
