As this could to be a monumental year, with the possibility of the first breeding Ospreys in Poole for a very long time, and the chance of more relocated birds returning I thought we might as well start off a new thread.

Carry on Alison, good to see your vids, never be too many! That's a brute of a stick!

Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

That's good to see, ALISON!
I shall take a small step back from this nest now that I know you're on it 100% equipped ;) But CJ7 is so lovely, and the cam is so lovely, and the Project is so developing, I shall not be able to retire entirely ;)

I'm just doing my rounds and came across CJ bringing in that big stick that MIKE snapped - she got into a 2-and-8 with it, but she's doing a grand job with the nest:
She later brought a similar stick, more awkward even, and it went over the side eventually, giving her curly wings ;)
I think she finally took off from the campost @ 20:44.

Cambump 05:34, and 8 minutes later CJ landed. She's been casually pottering but I had a network prob which took 2 reboots to recover from so I may have missed bits.
Edit;
That snap does enlarge if clicked on but I'm wondering why it came out so small. Here's the same one much bigger, see what happens:
Edit2:
Well they've "done something" between 05:23 and now :-/
I had taken a snip of when she landed on the nest @ 05.42 so I might as well post it. :-)
If anything else it shows the amount of daylight at the time
The nest is empty at this moment in time.

Oh yes Alison if LS7 arrives I think your lazy day will disappear in an instant
She has really dug the nest cup out really well, oh I hope LS7 arrives soon, or any male will do as I think her hormones have kicked in big style.
It is so handy having the time log here.
