As this could to be a monumental year, with the possibility of the first breeding Ospreys in Poole for a very long time, and the chance of more relocated birds returning I thought we might as well start off a new thread.

I've been stuck on dear CJ7 (whom I shall call CJ from now on, save that extra tap - provided another CJ doesn't turn up) for hours! Only a couple of vids done.
She brought in good sticks:
A brief, mild defence - the problem is, her voice is so weak and the wind so strong, but this should be better than the original:

Thanks Scylla! 'CJ' is another beautiful osprey. I think she is hassled a lot by those pesky corvids. I do hope LS7(17) returns soon. It would be such a pity if she remains single again. Does anyone know when he returned last year? In theory he should be earlier this year.

He returned on 12 June last year, Sheila. Should be much earlier this year, hopefully. The pair of them spent over two months bonding last summer.
Edit: I was convinced that bird (the Red Kite) was another osprey at c.11.30am! Shows how much I know... haha!
Richard, I think there is an osprey there. If you scroll back to 17.59, you can see it arrive (probably CJ7).
Edit: I think she had a fish, so is probably still eating.

Good Morning All
She arrived on the nest at 05.51 and did some nest cupping @ 06.54, so she is in preparing the nest mode
Still there just now - she is a very pale bird which I think makes her unique.
