As this could to be a monumental year, with the possibility of the first breeding Ospreys in Poole for a very long time, and the chance of more relocated birds returning I thought we might as well start off a new thread.

Very happy for you Alison, it is so special to have an Osprey come back to a place that you have invested your time into, now everything crossed for LS7 (matching numbers) :-)

While we wait the arrival of an Osprey - we have a Wood Pigeon on the perch.
Oh this webcam is going to be brilliant to watch when the Ospreys arrive, so clear! :-)

Anyone who says they cannot remember Ring Numbers and prefer names - Simpleeees allocate a memorable name to the ring number
CJ7 = Colin Jackson 7
LS7 - Luke Skywalker 7
By this I don't mean to use these names, use them as a reminder to what the ring numbers are if you know what I mean.
A bit of light fun while we await the arrival of the ospreys.
Up to lunchtime, no-one since on the nest.
We can nearly see what it is! ;)
All familiar birds :)
This was before it hunkered down into cuddliness for you, MARY - it was there for well over 20 minutes!
