2019 season summary: Laddie (LM12) arrived back from migration on Friday 15th March; Lassie (LM15) on Saturday 23rd March. Lassie laid 3 eggs on 4th, 7th and 10th April, hatching 11th, 12th and 16th May. Sadly, on 26th May the third chick died. The remaining two chicks were ringed on 26th June as follows: #1 Blue PT4 (M)* #2 Blue PT5 (M)*. They successfully fledged and subsequently set off for their first migration on 14th/15th August. Laddie left around the same time as the youngsters and it is thought that Lassie had already started her journey south approximately 2 weeks prior.

Both Ospreys (unringed) have been a breeding pair on this nest since 2015, after the iconic 'Lady' failed to return.

It started last season, Mary, but after you'd "left", probably. It is very useful but I find it hard to fine tune it to a specific point - 12 hours means you've got a nano-millimeter covering several minutes. However, I've noticed that some others are far more accomplished at it ;)
Out of interest Scylla...you can fine tune your search...by holding left mouse click on the red playback bar...dragging it upwards and then left and right :)

Thank you very much Trying, that's a brilliant tip, will be so much better for me as I hated scrolling back!

I have done that accidentally a couple of times and thought I was causing a malfunction!
Thank you very much, Trying :)

Thank you, Korky, am tickled pink you agree :)
It's been a very windy night at LOTL, and I was reminded of how precarious the nest was last season and wondering if they put any reinforcement in over the off-season - it still looks very sloped.
No-one yet seen.
Only a fleeting Coal Tit seen so far today. We had this view for a while - wottalotta sticks!

Thank you Valerie Interesting to note within the Blog that PT4 and PT5 were females after originally being classed as possible males? We know Keith Brockie took a few small feather samples for genetic testing at the time of ringing, I wonder if the results have come back with this confirmation...
Edit: As recorded here too
