Fingers crossed for next season Patily, although plenty of time for late returners (younger birds) to find the nest before the end of the season.   

As we have had such good weather lately it feels like it's so much later in the season than it actually is, so yes hopefully a couple of newcomers will arrive and bond for next season.
A few years ago it would have been unthinkable to have no ospreys at LG & Loch of the Lowes, but that's where we are now and I hate change :(

I was browsing the Radio Times this morning and I see there is a programme on BBC4 this evening "Highlands; Scotlands wild Heart" and part of the blurb says, "an osprey returns to a valley near Loch Lomond, its movements captured in slow motion" It is a repeat, so perhaps you have all seen it before!
