I’ve a bit of disappointing news after a reply to my email from Loch Garten. The Loch Garten webcams will remain down and offline and won’t be back online until at least April at the earliest. So whether that will affect the Loch Garten Osprey nest webcam, I don’t know. But it seems April will be the earliest that the webcams will be back live and online.
Regards,
Ian.

Once we get an all clear and are free again to travel, I’ll make a pilgrimage to that special Scots pine at Loch Garten.
I think this Forum has many contributors, me included, who consider it to be a pilgrimage. Without wishing to be morbid, I know of at least 3 people whose ashes have been scattered on Loch Garten and another 2 where the ashes were scattered under the nest tree. I understand these sentiments of wishing to have a last 'resting place' at this most amazing place that was, and still is, the focus of attention for Osprey lovers worldwide. May they all Rest In Peace.
Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

Posted on Aviemore Ospreys, it is good to know Cromarty has made it back.

There seems to be plenty of ospreys in the area. Hopefully the nest is in use this season.
