He was ill for a while, according to his Facebook posts recently. But he says he is now almost recovered.

So glad to hear this, I also had missed not seeing his posts. Get well soon.

Lindy, I expect there are good wishes from many on these threads, especially other Osprey lovers--hope Tiger continues to recover!

Thank you for your concern Ian. Starting on 16th January I had the most horrendous sickness. It was nothing like anything I have suffered in very many years maybe 30.

I did recover after about seven days and then had a real energy bounce.

I did take the unusual step of mentioning it on my Facebook group so people were aware.

I think it was probably the norovirus.

The osprey season is now just over six weeks away. I would hope to be visiting  here regular again.

I’ve just returned home after a day’s birdwatching at RSPB Saltholme and I’ve just arrive home Tiger and I’m pleased your now well.
