03/07 15:02 Staffordshire : Western Osprey, Belvide Reservoir (PERMIT ONLY) one over north-east shore from causeway (14:40)
From Ashdown Forest Centre posted today on the FB page, but written by Clive Poole, Voluntary Ranger on 1 July.
Someone asked "Maybe Osprey had been hunting food on Weir wood.". The response was "I gather the osprey has been seen several times over Weirwood". To which the Centre responded "Yes and over Priory Road".

EARLY SUMMER 2020 REPORT ON BIRDLIFE ON THE WEST & NORTH CHASES OF ASHDOWN FOREST DURING LOCKDOWN
The highlight of June had been the unusual sighting of an Osprey which I saw while walking on the North Chase. It made several appearances across the north of the Forest being seen by several individuals.
