The Woodbridge osprey is still about - it was seen fishing on the River Deben at Martlesham Creek at about 9.15.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

Still plenty passing through Poole Harbour. I had five sightings this morning over Wareham Channel. This one flew near me with a tiny fish, held the wrong way round. There is a ring (metal?) on the right leg. Click on the photo for better quality.
