Just seen this on the NZ albatross webcam Twitter page
3-6 days!!
Thanks for that info, KORKY - what a terrible fate the foetus may endure :o
The rabbits have almost no competition at night:
The cat was back but didn't take a single seed:
G'night folks!
IMAGICAT
The Sydney long-distance cam is still down, and the nestcam went down for a while but back up now. Many hours of high winds. EDIT - No, the nestcam is down too - I'm only getting repeated downloads of the same file. It went down @ 09:55 on the Sydney 24th.
We can only speculate about the glow - city lights, or... ?
Ohio
I think 5 rabbits is the max number I've managed to capture so far:
Norty rude squirrel ran up, sniffed, ran off again!
No wonder we have maimed Mourning Doves - they were a full second behind the Starlings when danger loomed (I never see the source, tho Scott has captured a hawk on a dove):
A routine day except hardly any, if any, sunshine and fewer birds than sometimes.
The same on the upper feeder. This lady was the last visitor and flew off with a seed in her beak:

This is a shocking story. Why is HS2 allowed to get away with this? Most planning applications/approvals have to detail sensible mitigation measures.
Ohio night of 23/24
We had non-rabbit critters! (As well as rabbits.)
Good shot of whiskery face
This was a different one - we've seen the torn ear before:
This youngster has a skin problem - doesn't look like mange - flea allergy? :(
A fitter specimen, another young-looking one:
Just one Raccoon, didn't stay very long:
Both cats! Neither was impressed with the dinner table:
