Been reading back, but it must be farther back where OG mentioned the date for Js procedure. I think it was either today, or otherwise it was pre op today, followed by op tomorrow. Will be thinking of them all at this time.

Amazing amount of subjects and varied posts during the last two weeks!! I forgot to say that I did Google the name of the dinner plates I was searching for and they're available on Ama**n. At a much higher price than the two I bought though, as they were on Sale offer! I might treat us to a couple of them.

Heather, sorry you've had such grim wetness lately. It doesn't seem fair that we've had better. I hope you get a better week this week.

Our stay in Wales was warmer than expected, as it is November after all. We had some heavy rain, but in between the sunshine was glorious, and everywhere the leaves were turning, as they do every year. How wonderful nature is.

Today J parted company with his thyroid gland in Manchester. All seems well, but this evening the phlebotomist failed to get a blood sample (this runs in the family, except that the blood doesn't actually run!) to check his calcium level as an indicator that his parathyroids were not damaged during the surgery. If all is okay tomorrow he will leave hospital, but we shall stay an extra night before taking him home to Scotland.

OG: I'm so very glad that all seems well. I'm sure they'll get a blood sample on the next try. I hope you can all have a relaxing time and de-stress before you go home. Safe travels. I'm sending healing energy to J and strength to you all!
