I'm not doing a post-mortem of the LG 2019 season.
Here's to a colourful, action-packed off-season - but the cam needs repositioning and cleaning. MIKE ??? !!! ;-D
03 September!
As KORKY may have retired in despair (I nearly did myself!), here is An Animal's Guide to Britain.

IMAGICAT
Feeder Thursday 05 September
Chaffie had the feeder all to itself for several minutes but wasn't bovvered :o
More stuff:
One culprit keeping the other waiting:
Aha!
Back to normal ;)
Feeder lowered a little but not enough:
Late lunch Blue Tits - not that that's the first time they appeared:
Wood Pigeon retired:
Chaffinch was the last bird of the evening:
If anyone else thinks that this view would be better I'll send it off to Peter and ask if he can arrange it. Whilst we would miss some bodies and tails at the bottom we would still see their heads, and more complete birds could be seen at the top.
No Cresties seen but I could easily have missed them.
Birdies LG DU update.
Peekaboo. The peanut feeder's looking worse for wear.

Thank you, MIKE !!! :)

I've been thinking the same thing myself, and blaming the norty squirrels :)
(These won't be in chronological order.)
All the same Siskin (which is yellower than it was at the beginnng of the season).
It quarreled with, or was quarreled at by, both Great and Coat Tit:
It was shouting after a departing Tit:
The Robin didn't hang about when it saw who was on the other side of the feeder:
The GSW had the same effect on the Blue Tit:
There was a lot of mid-air stuff going on, and a lot of Chaffies today:
The 3 common tits:
No Crestie, needless to say.
G'night.
Forgot to say that the GSW was last in last evening.
First in this morning, Coal Tit:
The little birds had 5 minutes of access before a big baddy turned up:
Then it/they and the squirrels spoiled the little birds' breakfast until now. This will be the situation mostly until late lunchtime, it seems from what I've seen, and then the little birds will get a period of easy access.
