Link to August thread
Aila left on 13 August and Mallie on 20 August. Rannoch failed to follow the weekly departure pattern and we're were still enjoying her noisy company on 31 August. But not so many fish for her today and perhaps Louis is encouraging her to leave.
It's been a happy nest, mostly, this season, apart from the failure to hatch of egg 2. Let's hope Aila and Louis come back next year and we see both Mallie and Rannoch again in a couple of years.
EDIT. Louis was last seem on Thursday 5 September and Rannoch on Friday 6 September.
IMAGICAT

Unknown said:Well I think we can safely say that Louis has learnt the art of providing for his family!
And he hadn't eaten a beakful until the third fish :-*
She discarded some undesirables:
Ate some more and flew with the fish shortly after:
She must be aware that there are no sibs around to threaten her stash ;)
