HAPPY NEW WEEK and HAPPY SUPER NEW MOON (FRIDAY)

I hope everyone has a wonderful, peaceful, happy week. It's almost autumn, and night is coming earlier now. I'm seeing nature signs that indicate it's going to be a harsh winter here.

I met an old yoga friend in the supermarket this morning, by the news stand. We both shook our heads!!

My OH has painted the windowsill in the sitting room, ready for the new blinds which may hopefully come next week. I seem to be wheezing again, as it's still hayfever weather but its also raining. <sigh>

I tried to post some photos on this forum from my phone, but it won't do it which is annoying: here are some of them which I have emailed to myself on the desktop, then stored as downloads, as the only way I know to get at them!

We went out on Monday to our favourite coffee venue, up in the hills.

..............................Nope. won't do it. Its trying to post them all at the same time, and not one at a time, which of course it doesn't like. excuse me a minute, whilst I walk to the window and throw the desktop out through it......

Another try....

I give up! -- It's disappeared and the only way I'm going to find it is to go through all 4 to 5 thousand of my pictures, one at a time. I've had it with computers for today....

Lindy - Now you know why I don't even attempt to post photographs on this site! You sound very calm and polite when moving to throw your computer through the window. Mine usually goes, with some force from a distance! Metaphorically, of course. On one occasion I had been doing some research and written about 1,500 words, saving frequently - and the computer just wiped it all. While I was still ... thinking about it ... my phone rang and I was extremely abrupt with the friend on the other end, who laughed when I told him what had happened. I told him it was a good job he was several miles away or he was at risk of serious harm.

My profound sympathies, Pat. Computers can be a good tool but are also the most annoying of modern inventions.

This is the hot chocolate I had in the cafe, the man who served me asked if I'd like "The Works", meaning additions such as these tiny marshmallows. When I replied "Of course, that's what I've come for" he gave me extra!!

OG - at least now you know what may be the outcome for J and hopefully descisions will be made soon as to what is best for J.

Lindy, you use to post great pics in groups. Wonder why it won't do it for you now. Persevere, love to see them.

Weather has been hot and humid down here, although today there are signs of it changing and guess what - had a text from the gardner to say he's coming to do the lawns tomorrow, and also from the window cleaner - that he is coming tomorrow. Just hope it doesn't rain as I don't really want to pay for windows washed down when its raining.
