  Patily, I think there might be one on the very top of the dead trees on the far left. I watched as one took off and landed there. Very difficult to spot even when I knew he was there!!

  Yes indeed Sandra. I wonder if he was troubled by the juvenile, as well as the attack by his offspring?

  Thanks for all the updates and wonderful captures. I too hope Laddie is OK but am leaning towards (and hope it is the reason for non appearance) the tough love theory.
  
  This morning was the first I felt a nip in the air when out walking my dog and have noticed that the nights are starting to draw in a little earlier now. Considering PT4 is now 95 days old and PT5 is 94 perhaps Laddie is thinking that it is time they were starting to think about leaving. Sad but they must.
