Two and a half hours into the Democratic Presidential candidate debate and our television cable service went down, along with everyone else's around here judging from the neighborhood website. Perfect time. Grrrrr.

Annette, how frustrating. These things seem to happen at the most inconvenient times.

I'm feeding the w. machine, and my OH is taking one of his sisters to visit the cousin who is seriously ill.

LINDY- I hope that your OH will get his stitches out as planned.

I'm off to Elgin for the day. Middle daughter is cat sitting while youngest family are in Tenerife.

Came back on Sunday from a weeks river cruise on the Danube. As expected it was wonderful. Don't think I will be catching up with all your news. Just hope you and yours are all well.

How good, Dibnlib: glad you enjoyed yourselves. I remember your saying you were going to treat yourselves to another one. Presumably you had good weather?

My OH saw his cousin and found her now unconscious, she must be nearing her end, poor soul. He says he won't go again and his sister agreed.

Yes the weather was good. In fact we had to bus a little as the water level was too low for the longboats. It was part of the cruise we would have done overnight if we had sailed, so it was a bit of a bonus to do it by road one morning. `if that makes sense.

ANNETTE: You can watch the end of the debate HERE. You only missed about 15 minutes, basically just the final speeches, which were predictable. The debate ended about 15 minutes before the hour, and CNN went to their biased and inane "analysis." I wish the media would practice actual journalism for a change and let the people decide who should be the nominee. But I guess that would be too much like democracy. Grrrrrr.
