Hi all, Fairly quiet day. Morning activity then youngsters were on and off the nest at times during the afternoon and evening. Until EJ landed with a whopper of a fish in the late evening. Two juves were on the nest and what a tussle took place. Gary has a video link for it and I placed a series of pics on yesterdays update along with others who also posted the Battle of the Titans tussle.
Now we have an abandoned part eaten "whale" on the nest and nobody around to eat it.The wind still sounds fierce. Over to the night shift, happy viewing. See you all in the morning. No, I won't be able to catch up till a lot later in the day.

BTW Odin is still calling in distance and EJ now quiet on nest, but she's still very alert for bother!
And calling on and off in an Odin kind of way.
I did see those fabulous osprey photographs, Daisy Ray, absolutely brilliant

I was in the conservatory and heard a great shouting on the nest ... came through to find one GEM standing looking all around .... now its gone! I don't know what it was all about!
I'm signing out now. Masses to do - LOL - so bye, all!
Odin arrives .... with a stick ... nobody is around, so off he goes! Sounds like a couple of GEMs shouting off screen ... obviously not impressed by a stick :-))
Bye Daisy Ray - I'm around off and on ... housebound by kitchen re-fit!
Good morning all and thanks for night shift commentary and today so far. What really makes my day is to read there are plenty of fish, I see EJ caught another whale yesterday and all youngsters fed well. Logged in and caught Odin I think visiting the nest, moved a stick and then flew off. I am still smiling at what we thought was a fish yesterday. It looked just like the tail end of a fish but should have known that if it had been food it would have been long gone. I guess there are going to be more and more days of ENS. Nest looks sad all on its own now but what a wonderful year it has been again. EJ the perfect Mum and who is still sharing some fish to ensure they all get some and of course our wonderful Odin, he is a hero.
Off to catch up with yesterday's blogs now but have a good day all. As I leave I can hear someone near the nest calling a bit.

Just caught up and thanks to for pics and also for the videos. Amusing to read about the tug of war with the whale. Althouhg I can hear someone closeby not seen an osprey at all this morning, so we really are into ENS now.
morning all. Thanks for all the pictures/fish reports. Great to read.
Daisy Ray, enjoyed your comments as usual:)
M Lake, I can't take the credit for the clip of Odin, it was Alan:)
Been watching for half an hour and the most I've "seen" is a few chirps off camera, in the distance. Probably all snoozing off the huge meals they've had already.

Welcome Margos - sorry it’s taken me so long to say so.
Alan Gary http://www.garryridsdale.com/portfolio60347.html (I forget who posted this link) It’s just a tremendous library of images . Thank you so much for the link.
Thanks for all today’s posts – great to catch up on nest ‘doings’ Lynette, Gary, BarbaraJean, Annette, AQ, Lindy, MLake, DaisyRay, Brenda, Margos, Alan, Djoan and Margobird
So pleased to see your pics Lindy and DJoan – really liked the captures of Odin. Why on earth would he bring a stick to the nest at this stage LoL. D’you think he needs an excuse to visit if he arrives fishless :)
Good morning Gary heard a noise and came back to the screen to see someone (don't know who) shouting on the nest. As fast as it appeared it was off again. First time I have seen an osprey in this nest today.
