The season so far: Maya arrived back 14 March and Blue 33(11) on 23 March. Maya laid 4 eggs 2, 5, 8 and 11 April hatching 11, 11, 13 and 17 May. The four chicks were ringed on 21 June as follows: #1 Blue 054 (F), #2 Blue 055 (M), #3 Blue 056 (M) and #4 Blue 057 (F). Further details of their vital statistics can be found here.

I wonder where it got it?
I thought it should be 057 when I noticed this beauty sitting down but I don't think it is, it looks like 055 or 056 ???

Blue 33 on the nest eating the skin and tail end.
Karen I hope your eye is improving. I had an eyelid injury caused by a garden bamboo stick, my garden sticks now have bright coloured balls on top.
I turn my my back and Maya is back with a fish feeding a juvie.

Juvie arrives to find a good nestover, and celebrated with a leap across the nest:
Soon Blue33 delivered a fresh BREAKFISH!
That brought in another juvie:

Hi ALL - thanks for concern. My eye is slowly improving but it will be a few days yet before it is anything near normal.
