Latest update from Marie on 056's condition:
Link >> 056 much better
What a relief to see such improvement in 056. Amazing how tough these birds are.
Some close ups of him just now (65 days old)
The 16:06 fish delivery from 33 has gone a long way!
16:06 055 won the fish and was the first to feed as captured above.
17:18 056 took the fish from and had a good feed with little trouble. His throat appears much improved.
18:39 054 had been eating for a while and now finishing up
18:44 057 now has her turn of the fish
Quick visit from 056 - he really is looking well.
I am assuming he has bathed removing the dried blood which was making the wound look quite raw yesterday.
While posting above, Maya arrived with a fish!
Seeing that her chicks had all eaten, she flew off with it and hopefully she will enjoy a good feed.
057 has now settled down.
Off for the night now - BFN
Kind regards, Ann
