Have been squinty at my sscreen I think there are 3 on the nest but that's not gospel

Morning All - thanks for the vid Scylla and shame that your cam froze earlier!!

Scylla, I am going to nick a capture from this and post for has there been another fledge?

Rutland move the cam yesterday after 055 fledged. I think they had to zoom it in a bit to see the ID of the remaining chicks to work out who had fledge. It is zoomed in more than it was for we see less around the nest but I am not complaining - just remarking on it for I am glad to have a cam.

Mike, Patily - you are both right - there has been another fledge!!

At 04:38 there are two chicks on the nest!

Edit:   I am scoring out this post as to not confuse anyone for looking again at the vid, there are three chicks on the nest, one hidden behind the middle chick, and it is 055 that confidently flew off.

Good morning all, thanks for the videos and grabs. I’m not sure about a second fledge, looking at Scylla’s video there is a small lump at the back of the closest Osprey which looks like one lying down. Mind you this time in the morning I haven’t got my eyes into focus so could be totally wrong lol

Replayed the video and see the bump at the back Jane - here is a capture from Scylla's video

At the start of the vid, before 055 takes off we can see the little bump behind the middle chick so suspect all four were on the nest and when 055 did take off we clearly can see the two chicks as earlier post and the third chick is hidden behind.

So hard to see but I am now tending to think watching 054 jump and flap about just now that she hasn't fledged yet.

Having gone through the video again I think Jane is right. It is so well concealed behind the other two but on balance I think there is another chick there.

EDIT.

I've checked again and there is one hidden there!. After 55 flies off the chick facing us gives a head shake and at that point there is a view of just a head behind it which moves.
