The season so far: Mrs G arrived back 25 March and Aran on 1 April. Mrs G laid 3 eggs 13, 16 and 19 April hatching 19, 21 and 24 May. Sadly on 9 June the second chick died. The remaining two chicks were ringed on 24 June as follows: #1 Blue KA4 (F) and #3 Blue KA0 (F).

Thanks, Everyone for the pics and posts. Fingers crossed that fledging happens without any excitement! Lindy, Your photos capture the gorgeous view from the balcony at Glaslyn very well--thanks! As you most likely know, while the nest is a mile and a quarter from the centre and can be seen through the scopes, you only need to step back into the visitor centre to watch the live stream of the nest and of the adults' favourite perches as well as video clips from the current and from previous seasons on other screens. Otters and Kingfishers have been seen from the balcony (sadly not by me!) and over 30 other species of birds have been seen around the visitor centre.
Kind regards, Ann

KA4 is 55 days old today, I wonder if we will see her take her maiden flight?
I'm sorry not to have contributed or even checked in for such a long time - I did get a mental block when #2 died but kept recording, but since the last few days the netbook has been crawling, with 100% CPU being used doing nothing :'( Am trying to fix it.
A while ago I waited for minutes and minutes for an all-faces shot of the family, not sure if I got it:
Thanks to all, especially BIRDIE for faithful coverage - I saved your framed snap of "the girls" from when you lost your long post - that's happened to me when I've accidentally dragged a snap outside the RF box, easily done :'(
IMAGICAT
KA4 and KA0 are both beautiful looking girls!
Snap BNN!
