On 1 July, chick 1 is 30 days old. Chick 2, from egg 3, is 27 days old.
Apart from the sad failure-to-hatch of egg 2 , everything has been reasonably settled on the nest, and Louis is in the running for Mary's 'Fisherman of the Year Award'.

The fish speaks for itself! It was JJ0 who claimed it but Aila soon took over and is now feeding the chicks.

JJO grabbed it from Louis, and tried to nip Aila about five times whilst semi-mantling over the fish. Eventually Aila took charge of the fish. Ian

LoL @Ian.....and JJ0 was not play-acting either. It was fun to watch. Either Aila is teaching them well...or JJ0's instincts are already very well developed, and apparently showing in a non-timid way.I think both JJ0 and JJ2 have an excellent future...if they can overcome the trauma of the first two years of migration dangers.
Typical kids. Eaten the fish, left the salad.

I can't download the stream at the moment because (my downloader support people tell me) YouTube have changed their live streaming protocol and the download software will have to be adapted. They usually do it quite quickly.

Here's the 2nd fish
