Morning all:
Lynette: If you started a new thread, someone made off with it! :-) Still, not a problem. Just checked in and - amazing!! Four birds on the nest. EJ and three chicks. EJ is feeding them. All seem very well behaved. Guess it must be #1 and Titch busy eating?? Perhaps that's #2 hanging back. OMG It's another whale!!
I am glad you said that Paul. I was beginning to doubt myself completely then. I am sure your eyesight is fine.
Evening all. Two chicks on the nest. One alarm calling loudly and mantling the other making a half-hearted attempt at same. Then all went quiet. Both settled down on the nest now. Looks lovely up at LG again today.
Good evening all and thanks for all the posts and pics while I have been doing other things. Logged in to see one GEM eating and the other one watching and waiting but I don't think it got any of that fish. Really need one of EJ;s whoppers now to ensure they have full tummies tonight. Just seen one of the youngsters move the stick that we thought was a fish. Had to laugh when I read Alan's post. One is complaining now and both of them plodding round the nest. Still sounds so windy there. Just be on for a short while as OH is shopping so as soon as he returns will go and put it away and then watch one of the many programmes we have recorded.
Margobird
Well there were two GEM's on the nest but they have both gone now.
Night, Margobird.
Right old racket going on but all our of sight.
Good night Heather B and I would reiterate everything you say about the war our soliders are involved in. Just bring them all home safe and well. Not a war we should be involved in at all.
Oh dear my manners have deserted me goodnight all and have a good evening. I leave with someone shouting their head off at LG and one shouting its head off at LOtL. Stereo but very noisy indeed.
One chick on nest having a temper tantrum, dos'nt know what to do with himself. Hurry up supper.
Good night margobird.
The GEMs are certainly making a lot of noise at the moment. The one on the nest is very loud, as is another one. A third tends to sound a bit husky sometimes, like his mum.
