dibnlib: We'll be thinking of you this week.  Take care

  • Good Morning, and thank you to Diane for starting us off.

We are all thinking of you, dibnlib.
  • DIBNLIB Thinking of you at this sad time.
  • DIANE - thank you for the new week.

DIBNLIB - holding you in our thoughts and prayers.
  • Very sorry to hear you sad news Dibnlib remember all the good times.

  • Still very changeable weather here - I don't think I've had a day lately when I haven't had to get changed at some point, as I'm too hot or too cold!

Walked around a crafts & food market, and went for a coffee, in my case a hot chocolate with marshmallows! Yum. Managed not to buy anything, as the crafts seemed to be either cheap, cheerful and tacky, or eye wateringly expensive.

Met one or two acquaintances, including our next door neighbours, so I had chance to admire the cute baby. The older little girl is now two!!
  • Quiet on here today.  Hope Heather made it back okay.   I went for long walk after doing desk stuff; now off to look at a house in the neighborhood that just came on the market (just to look).  Saw one yesterday too - way overpriced for the condition, which wasn't bad, but....

Lindybird: No change in weather here; just gray and cool - our famous June Gloom.

    Take care all.

  • Annette -- I love any excuse to look at houses, I'm really nosey! Of course, if you might just be thinking of downsizing....
  • ANNETTE, LINDA - I check the photos posted online by real estate agents. Plenty of scope as our street has some 90 homes. Two recently for sale were sold very quickly.

A bleak day, chilly, no rain. I’m off to Murattis for a natter with Friend. Who knows whether OH will bother going out. I’ve left some chicken pie unfrozen in case he needs to get his own lunch.

  • AQ: I remember Murattis from a previous trip via internet. It had good pastries from what I recall...

Diane: I'm watching a 1.5 hour documentary on PBS entitled Monrovia, Indiana, which I believe isn't too far from you.   It's a sort of "a day in the life of...." approach little structured dialog, just the camera's eye view of people going about their normal lives.  Interesting....
