Regarding the "intruder" on the nest, I would agree with Liz B on the WT chat and the concensus on here that it was Louis. Ian

Approx 12.10, small whole fish. approx 12.20, Aila briefly alarm called but I saw nothing. Ian

16.23, the lone poster (on this thread anyway) again. Fish delivered, Louis arrived at a bad angle for identifying whether it was whole or not. Ian

EDIT - at quarter speed I can see it was whole.

Such excitement today, and much detective work. Well done! I wonder how he broke the feather. I did notice in an earlier vid of the intrusion that one of the chicks found itself amid Louis' tail feathers in a scissor action! Although I am not sure that would have caused the damage.

To cap it all, I had a big crash yesterday evening, unnoticed because the display was switched off as usual, it always looks after itself...

Anyway, this morning I've seen that at least one of the chicks is OK - see foot and wing sticking out on Aila's left - but there's been no activity to judge any more than that:
