The evening fish was a small whole one, it was masked on the way in and then Aila got in the way:
The fish diminished rapidly after a couple of shortish feeds, and then Louis appeared to bring back a small portion when I can't find him ever taking any away :-/ Go figure... I cannot worry about it :-/
Little one's crop is looking healthy:
No owly problems so far tonight but Aila is extremely fidgety - maybe to do with having 2 active osplets underneath her? Yet when I see them they're lying down :-/
She managed some zuzzes:
#2 is being very vocal this time:
A stick got blown up and Aila hardly batted an eyelid! She's a different osprey now ;)
Aila had her flyabout, all is quiet.

Indeed it does Korky. Liz on the WT chat also advises that Aila finished off the last fish, so this must be a new one. Ian
Handsome boy. He returns to claim the rest of the fish and flies off with it after posing for a family portrait
Lovely captures this morning, thanks! I scrolled back to about 06.50 when Louis arrived. He stalked the nest, clearly looking for a piece of left over fish, and found it under Aila's tail. He pushed his way under her to find fish tail end! She got up and retrieved it and fed herself before giving the chicks their turn. During this Louis gave a few loud intruder alarm calls, before taking off leaving Aila with the fish end.
After the feed she flew off, as the osplets watched her. She returned and brooded. Drying raindrops are on the cam.
