The season so far: Telyn (Blue 3J) arrived back 30 March and Monty on 1 April. Telyn laid 3 eggs 17, 20 and 23 April hatching 26, 27 and 29 May. Telyn and Monty continue to work hard to raise their young and Monty is once more proving to be an excellent provider bringing in plenty of fish to feed his family.

Telyn has returned to the nest
It looks sore, but she is standing on it - blood on the left food is from the right foot which has the injury
and then feeds the chicks
All lined up
I was too slow!! LOL Sorry Scylla!

A huge fish delivery from Monty was ignored! sea trout/seabass?
And he flew off with it, presumably to the perch. Telyn continues to both feed any interested chick and herself from the left over piece.
Kind regards, Ann
Birdies LG DU update.
I wondered why they were focusing on Telyn's feet yesterday - at the time she was finishing a fish so I thought "that's an unusually bloody fish"...
After she'd finished it:
She doesn't seem to be favouring it today, just carrying on as normal :)

Thanks Sheila, Berthyn is a very big girl!
A close up of Telyn's foot injury a short time ago. It looks much better today

Telyn is definitely "feeling" her foot injury - she was on the perch on her left foot but brought her right foot down for a while but did not grip with it:
Later she was using both feet:
