The season so far: Mrs G arrived back 25 March and Aran on 1 April. Mrs G laid 3 eggs 13, 16 and 19 April hatching 19, 21 and 24 May. Mrs G and Aran continue to work hard to raise their young and Aran is once more proving to be an excellent provider bringing in plenty of fish to feed his family.

Birdies LG DU update.
Chicks must be well fed. Aran brings in a Flounder and is eating on the nest rim. Mrs G hardly lifted her head and has made no move to take it.
SUNDAY 02 JUNE
I'm very conscious of neglecting this lovely family so am checking thru yesterday morning...
Aran was feeding himself while MrsG fed the chicks, when Aran decided he'd feed the chicks too... but it didn't work out ;)
The pecking order:
I knew I'd seen this yesterday - but gallant MrsG fed the chicks between downpours:
MONDAY 03 JUNE
After MrsG's early morning flyabout this scene broke thru the routine buffers - the meal is flounder:
When the cam came to life for the day, there was Aran with another flounder ;-D
When MrsG eventually took an interest she nearly knocked him off his perch:
Don't know if you can see in this mega-enhanced snap that #1 got carried along by a stick when MrsG was tidying up:
This is what prompted me this morning:
#3 getting fed:
#3 with a plump crop :)
