The season so far: LM12 (Laddie) arrived back 15 March and LF15 (Lassie) on 23 March. Lassie laid 3 eggs on 4, 7 and 10 April hatching 11, 12 and 16 May. Sadly on 26 May tragedy struck and the third chick died. Laddie and Lassie continue to work hard to raise their young and Laddie is once more proving to be an excellent provider bringing in plenty of fish to feed his family.

A little past 22:10, Laddie brought in what appeared to be a headless fish, it was a bit of a struggle to get released from his talons

PT 4 and PT5 are top and toeing this morning, Its windy so cam is a bit blurry at times.
Lovely photo from Keith Brockie of the two chicks showing off their Ring Numbers. He has also shown it off on some of the Photography Groups he is in. :-)

I've been downloading so I have the wakeups.
Lassie was at the back of the nest when one chick got up for a flap:
It (he!) settled down again, then a few minutes later the other got up for a poop and flap:
Lassie flew off and the boys settled as MARY has snapped them:

As LotL has posted their blog, and as I have permission, here are the two pics which Keith Brockie posted yesterday.
The first is included in the blog, and has the two hides in the background

I love the top photo, just like a matched pair of carved bookends.

Thank you for sharing both of Keith's photos Sheila
A quick scroll through and at around 10:40, Laddie brought a small, live fish to the nest. I think it was PT4? (hard to see because of the glare) that tried to deal with it at first, Lassie stepped in but the young chick took it again to eat
Just before midday, Laddie delivered another fish, Lassie took control of this one and fed the chicks
13:35(ish) Laddie was flying in with a fish but, due to both chicks close to the back edge of the nest (one was being hidden by Lassie), he had to make a detour to land from the right side
