The season so far: LM12 (Laddie) arrived back 15 March and LF15 (Lassie) on 23 March. Lassie laid 3 eggs on 4, 7 and 10 April hatching 11, 12 and 16 May. Sadly on 26 May tragedy struck and the third chick died. Laddie and Lassie continue to work hard to raise their young and Laddie is once more proving to be an excellent provider bringing in plenty of fish to feed his family.

Laddie arrived a couple of minutes ago with a small stick then picks up a piece of left over fish from the side of the nest and starts feeding Lassie
and Lassie now passes the piece on to the chick

Edit: 5 minutes later and this is still going on ie Laddie tearing the fish and passing pieces to Lassie who is then sharing the fish with one chick as the other is still asleep tucked into her :-)
Ahhh! Another pair practising team work Lassie nags as Ladddie passes her morsels of fish that she passes to one of the chicks whichis nagging in its turn while its sibling sleeps

Thanks for that Kate ... aww indeed.
Have you ever seen what happened this morning before ie the pass the fish :) For Laddie was passing the fish to Lassie who was then passing it to the chick. I've never seen that before on any nest :-)
I can recall watching Monty and dear Glesni passing fish in that way Karen, lovely to see
'A wing stretch eh?'
'I can do that too!'
