The season so far: Maya arrived back 14 March and Blue 33(11) on 23 March. Maya laid 4 eggs 2, 5, 8 and 11 April hatching 11, 11, 13 and 17 May. Maya and 33 continue to work hard to raise their young and 33 is once more proving to be an excellent provider bringing in plenty of fish to feed his family.

10:17 Maya arrived with a large bundle of hay
then placed it on and then around the chicks
Chick #1 showing us its pin feathers
#4 having a little top up just now
#4 continues to get a few bits of fish!
#2 joins in and gets fed now as #4 is full
#2 turned away as #1 approached and it starts to get fed. Sadly, the Top cam has now gone down but they are all getting fed and all seems orderly.
Must go. Out now this afternoon - catch up this evening. BFN
Catch up ..... Record of the 16:16 Feed
16:16 33 approached the nest with a fish and I am wondering what is that hanging from him?
16:16 Maya grabbed the fish
16:17 #3 was fed as #2, #4 and #1 watched 33 fly off
16:19 #1 wants fed and warns #3 off
16:22 #3 rejoins #1 also #4 moves up. #3 gets another bit of fish much to #1's annoyance and it gives it a few pecks!
then #1 turns on #3 who backs off also #4 moves away
#1 now continues to be fed
16:41 #2 now being fed
16:47 #3 is now fed again and #4 starts to move forward
16:48 #4 gets one piece of fish
16:49 #4 and #3 want more but the fish is finished.
Maya now turns her back and tidies up. I did have to leave the room a couple of times but from what I saw it was not a good feed for #4 but it was fed well earlier and I am sure it will get something tonight.
33 has just been in with another fish!
Missed the start of the feed but as from:
18:34 Maya feeding #1 and #3 - #3 getting the most. #4 has its head down and #2 is lying at the back, waiting
18:40 #4 now got its head up and gets a couple of bits of fish
18:42 #4 gets fed now as #1 turns away also #2 not interested. #3 still getting the odd bit
18:44 #2 joins the feed and is getting fed. #4 holding back a little and #3 moves away but Maya slips the odd bit to #4 as well
18:47 #1 joins the feed again along with #2. #4 turns away but joins again and gets the odd bit
18:50 #4 just got the tail. Another fish devoured ....
All chicks, without any aggression, were fed. They have all snuggled down now as Maya tidies up
