Hi KAREN sad news at Kielder Nest 1A because of all this rotten weather

Thanks for the updates, what dreadful conditions at the moment. I've only enough signal to stay on this thread but presume some chicks are going to perish in the current conditions. I'm up just under Arkle and Foinaven and I doubt it's above 8° and that is being generous.

Hi Jane - beautiful spot, just wish it was a bit warmer for you. I'm down in the lowlands and it is chilly here too! But I do hope, despite the weather, that you are having a nice time.

Yes dreadful conditions and awful to think some may perish. Who would have thought it for this time of year. Just awful watching MB just now for it is such a miserable sight - I feel for them.

Maya has been feeding again. Good to see she is managing to keep giving them something at regular intervals.

It's more like November than June in most of the UK at the moment! If the poor creatures can just sit it out, there's better weather on the way from the weekend. Fingers crossed it comes sooner!

Maya and Blue 33 have done a brilliant job so far, if not all survive it won’t be for the lack of trying that’s for sure.
