Hi everybody, I was a bit hit and miss yesterday as was out most of the day.
Only caught up in the late evening so not sure how many fish were delivered
A lot of action late evening with two fish being delivered by Odin and EJ, two chicks managed to hog them and I believe the Middle one was left out. EJ then delivered a whale of a fish a bit later on and the Middle one had some. Couldn't quite tackle the head so started from furter down. Then EJ flew in and started feeding it. It eventually left like the other two. EJ has stayed on the nest now for well over an hour.
I'll leave you with this pic of her before she flies away for the night.Happy viewing, night shift, see you all in the moning.

Well caught DJoan
I know Rothes and Mallachie didn't quite meet up, before we lost contact with M but there has to be a good chance that they do cross paths again.
nest empty.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!

Brenda , Lynette, BarbaraJean, DJoan, and OG Yes an empty nest and where are the supper fish?? Oh well, they had tea time fish didn’t they. I’m not sure of parental strategy now where feeding is concerned. I would have thought they’d want to fatten the family up since they’ll lose so much weight on their migration. Good night to you all - I had a very long ‘wake’ period in the night last night so I’m going to try and make up for it now.
Good Night Cirrus. Hope you sleep better tonight.
What a racket ... two young ones on the nest ... looks like one has a fish!
EDIT - yes one has a small Odin sized fish ... still wriggling, poor thing :-(
Odin just brought in a fish and one chick has claimed it making an aweful noise and mantling over it. Another juve has flown in shrieking away
sounds like an intruder alert as well but I think one is very hungry and not got a fish and the other is protecting the one he grabbed from Odin.
The juve who came in is on the left and has been making a right fuss, not sure who it is, could be Titch and the Eldest claimed the prize.
