Hi everybody, I was a bit hit and miss yesterday as was out most of the day.
Only caught up in the late evening so not sure how many fish were delivered
A lot of action late evening with two fish being delivered by Odin and EJ, two chicks managed to hog them and I believe the Middle one was left out. EJ then delivered a whale of a fish a bit later on and the Middle one had some. Couldn't quite tackle the head so started from furter down. Then EJ flew in and started feeding it. It eventually left like the other two. EJ has stayed on the nest now for well over an hour.
I'll leave you with this pic of her before she flies away for the night.Happy viewing, night shift, see you all in the moning.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Wow. I've been busy with family so now am reading back to find that Alan is right - it's been a 'Fish Fest' !!
Here is 'Baby' still eating
Lindybird I have been watching most of the afternoon and there has been someone on the nest eating all the time. A good supply of fish today and one of EJ's whoppers too so all well fed for the day especially Titch.
Margobird
Poor Titch is getting more and more frustrated with the tail end of his fish!

margobird - I am so pleased for you that there has been so much action when you have had time to watch ... so many times lately it has been an empty nest!

---Its so funny, Joan - he is still talking to it!
EDIT: Yes, its a much better day for watching than yesterday - hope you are OK with your eyes, margobird - have a rest in a bit!
ps - I'm going to drag myself away soon as want to watch 'Wild Wales' which is on at 6.00 o'clock today - there are ospreys in it!
Thanks for all the detective work and I can't believe that is still fish being eaten. Do you think we will still hear any screams for food later ?
Still no rain here so I have been watering neighbours pots and baskets, while my OH has been doing our's.
Been watching Titch with some amusement as he/she tried to deal with the tail end of the fish. Chattering away to it.
Brenda H I expect there will be screams for more later. this is the first time in a long while nobody has been eating.
Lindybird I have spent an awful lot of time on here so will be going soon and anyway OH will be back soon from his day at the Farnborough Air Show which he has enjoyed very much. Enjoy the Wild Wales I am recording it to watch later.
DjoanS yes I have been incredibly lucky today and not seen an empty nest much at all apart from when I first logged in. It has been an afternoon for feasting for all three youngsters.
Well that is my last post for the day so will say goodnight all and have a good evening.
Bye margobird - enjoy your evening
