Hi everybody, I was a bit hit and miss yesterday as was out most of the day.
Only caught up in the late evening so not sure how many fish were delivered
A lot of action late evening with two fish being delivered by Odin and EJ, two chicks managed to hog them and I believe the Middle one was left out. EJ then delivered a whale of a fish a bit later on and the Middle one had some. Couldn't quite tackle the head so started from furter down. Then EJ flew in and started feeding it. It eventually left like the other two. EJ has stayed on the nest now for well over an hour.
I'll leave you with this pic of her before she flies away for the night.Happy viewing, night shift, see you all in the moning.

Oh dear ... sounds like Middle has been interrupted by an intruder ... mantling and shrieking over its fish ... sounds like Odin chirruping off screen

Someone arrived on nest and perhaps middle juve is just letting it know the fish is not for taking.
Margobird
Did I just miss Odin with a fish? If so, who has Odin's fish?
Missed Odin Cirrus I thouht middle juve was still eating the left overs.
Snapshot of 3 nests with 2 juves on each:
Thanks Alan. Definitely pictures to keep.
It wasn't Odin. It was this chick and no fish.

Thanks Alan lovely pics to keep. When our ospreys leave I am going to get OH help me to do this. I have tried numerous times now to take snapshots but still haven't managed it. Hopefully next year I will be able to what countless others can. Think I must be a bit thick.
This is the same bird. ( I was watching as I was on phone.)
Yes she was , Margobird. But Odin arrived (not sure if I saw a new fish as Middle youngster was in the way) but she mantled and screamed at him and he left. He may well have had a new fish ! which she could have bagged as well as the remnant of the other fish.
