Hi everybody, I was a bit hit and miss yesterday as was out most of the day.
Only caught up in the late evening so not sure how many fish were delivered
A lot of action late evening with two fish being delivered by Odin and EJ, two chicks managed to hog them and I believe the Middle one was left out. EJ then delivered a whale of a fish a bit later on and the Middle one had some. Couldn't quite tackle the head so started from furter down. Then EJ flew in and started feeding it. It eventually left like the other two. EJ has stayed on the nest now for well over an hour.
I'll leave you with this pic of her before she flies away for the night.Happy viewing, night shift, see you all in the moning.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Morning/evening all and thanks Lynette for starting us off again! OG has posted some interesting photos of the LG nest on the last page of the last Weekly Chat (not the new one). It shows the nest and the branch where #1 sits - if you've never been to LG, take a look.
Somebody is on the nest; not sure who. Wonder when they'll change the camera view.....
Well there were two birds for a bit; then one flew off just as I came back.
Well, whoever is on the nest is having a flapping fit! You'd think he/she hadn't fledged yet. Ooops. Whoever it was has left.
Oh dear. Am failling asleep. Empty nest. I'm off to bed.
A few minutes ago two juvies were playing tag.
One would fly to the nest and the one on the nest would leave. They were taking turns flying to the nest and leaving when the other one got there. They were clearly having fun as they had cheerful chirps as they arrived and left the nest .
Now I hear one in the background calling for food. I don't know if they have eaten yet today.
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
"Noisy" Middle and Titch are on the nest . Middle has been yelling from a near by tree for quite some time for a fish. Now it decided to be more visible and shout from the nest
I still think Middle is a female and practicing for the time when she will be nagging her mate for food. LOL
She is preening and shouting at the same time . A multi -tasker !
Titch is taking turns calling while looking toward EJ's tree
Now Middle has moved some twigs from the nest cup and laid down . It is not ready to give up the security of it's nest cup. :)
Titch is happily standing on one leg on a branch on the nest
Two standing on nest. The one at the back is complaining bitterly about room service (or lack of it). The other preening. Now the latter has started screeching.
EDIT Thanks Barbara Jean. I'm out of practise deciding who is who.
Titch had just settled beside Middle when Titch & I saw someone fly past. Now Titch has flown off. Gone to snaffle fish first? hahaha

Titch and the eldest look so much alike, but Titch has always been more vocal . Also the top front of the eldest' head has darker markings . Middle is easy to identify when I can see the back of it's head.
Now Titch decided to lay down . Oops an Osprey just flew past the nest. Was it EJ or Odin going fishing?
Now Titch flew off leaving Middle laying on the nest
EDIT Both birds are silent now. It must have been EJ or OdinThat Ttitch saw leaving to go fishing.
Drat. I can't study markings!!! Now Middle has flown.
