Hi everyone, its been a day of contrasts.
Lots of comings and goings , fish deliveries, snatching one from the other etc, and quiet times on the nest as is now. We are obviously going to have ENS more often than not now that all three are exploring the area and finding new places to roost.
I believe 6 fish were brought in yesterday and all had a share of the feasts.
EJ and Odin doing magnificent work in bringing in the fish. The youngsters between them , demolishing them.
Don't know what the viewing will be like overnight but good luck, night shift, hope you get some movement on the nest.
Take care all, happy viewing!! and see you in the morning.

Thanks as always Lynette
Well, wish I could report lots of happenings but each time I;ve looked , there has been no GEM's.
So, happy Saturday and hope to see some action later.
Dawn is breaking and no one is home on the nest.
Even the youngest must be roosting in a tree.
The time from mid August to Late March goes so slow while we await their return .
And then the time from Late March to mid August goes so fast.

Someone is calling for breakfast. I can't see who it is, but it sounds like it is the eldest from under the nest
EDIT #2 is on the nest fly- jumping across the nest and rearranging moss and branches . I don't know who brought the moss . I didn't see it yesterday.
OOPS he flew off .
Now I just saw the eldest fly to his perch under the nest and he is food soliciting
It looks like they are all assembling near the nest to be ready when a fish is delivered :)
Just saw another bird in the distance. I couldn't see who it was
Evening folks: Oh surprise! The nest is empty. Saw some flapping at lower right (beyond the nest) but that's all....
The eldest is on the nest yelling non-stop in the direction of EJ's tree. He wants to eat !!
He inherited his mother's persistence :)
Now one of the other ones has joined in the chorus. I can't see who it is
Yikes !! What a cacophony !
Well their last meal was late yesterday afternoon so they are hungry. I'll bet they won't turn their back on a fish this morning
Hey Barbara Jean: Looks like a nice sunny day there. Our friend is extremely persistent! But I'm too tired to stay up and see what happens when the food arrives. Apologies to the day shift, but must sign off early tonight. Take care all.
I think EJ just delivered a fish and left. Not as large as her usual fare. All I saw was the back of the bird maybe it was Odin . Titch ( I think) sitting on the perch on the right side waiting to get some of the fish. He may be disappointed. The fish is not that large. And it is still alive
Clearly it is the eldest eating . He had no problem killing the fish and eating the head.
Titch and middle get very frustrated trying to tear the fish when the head is still on .
Food for all, #3 just flew off full up. #1 tucking in to remains on right of nest. #2 being fed by mum, constantly food spliciting, more, more, more, the fish EJ has is huge.
