IMAGICAT
Big bunch of stuff!
Little furry stick:
EDIT - well there was one but it's gone AWOL. Have this "Why?" snap instead ;-D It's probably a rejected "Aila waiting to take over":
Aila waiting to take over:
Louis did come back later and, after a think...
Had a go at the silly stick but didn't succeed in making much difference and wasn't nuisance enough to be allowed to take over so he flew off.
Then a FISH !!!
When Aila returned she shifted the silly stick:
Suddenly she shot off, calling:
Back watchful:
Shot off again:
This time it was Louis who returned but from an unusual direction:
He was watchful too but eventually settled and is still there now:
Louis had a good long incubate and Aila had a good long rest 'n recuperation:
It didn't take long for Aila to get him up:
Obviously there were passers-by:
Louis brought in what appeared to be pale green stuff, which was a blur in the air:
After Aila's flyabout she revealed it to be a leafy stick:
She then took over and Louis flew after a minute or two standing by:
All good up to this point:
Finally, it seems, Aila has found a night she can get her head down for a bit of sleep :)
Notice how her head, at this time, is actually being shielded by the lichen on that twig from the rays of the IR light.....I have been wondering for the last few days....whether this particular IR light installation is not quite as pure as some other installations, and she has in fact been aware of a light or glare shining on her...which has meant she has found it hard to comfortably settle. Anyone else have thoughts?
Aila incubating at the moment, not checked scroll back to see if any action.

Change over, Louis brought a stick, not what Aila was wanting :-)
Here comes Louis
CIRRUS lamented:
...three eggs and NO cot rails yet!.
Louis just sought to start remedying that, CIRRUS - he sailed in with a very twiggy, very leafy, very springy stick which nearly sprung him off the edge of the nest. He's left it for Aila to deal with ;-D
