The season so far:
Mrs G arrived back 25 March and Aran on 1 April. They are currently incubating 3 eggs laid 13, 16 and 19 April with the first expected to hatch around 20 May.

Point Croesor is very close to the Glaslyn Visitor Osprey Centre. It is from the visitor centre that one views the ospreys. I do not know exactly what the distance is from the visitor centre to the nest but there is no way it is as far as 2.2km. There is no other way of viewing the nest.
However, wi th all due respect to Dr Mackrill we've seen that the position is problematic. The 5 F affair shows that. Thanks Karen
