The season so far:

Mrs G arrived back 25 March and Aran on 1 April. They are currently incubating 3 eggs laid 13, 16 and 19 April with the first expected to hatch around 20 May.

A star indeed! I had not been able to watch so I didn't know who was in the tree with fish, how unselfish of (((Aran))).

Oh I can't tell you how relieved I was to see all your wonderful reports before I had to go out. Thank you, and thank you Scylla for being the messenger of such good news. I really don't think I could bare go thru another 2017 again.
As for Aran's 'dirty' tail, I wondered whether he had roosted below a poo-ing pigeon or the like?
12.28 Mrs G is incubating. Aran took off about 25 minutes ago (scroll back limitations!), Mrs G pooed and returned to the nest. Perhaps he has gone fishing for a well-earned meal.
I appear not to have sound today?
