Continued from April 2019
The season so far:
Telyn (Blue 3J) arrived back 30 March and Monty on 1 April. They are currently incubating 3 eggs laid 17, 20 and 23 April with the first expected to hatch around 24 May.

I believe its ok to post this as it was posted on the Dyfi page on public view. Its the chart Mike was on about earlier showing all the Welsh returnees. It gets more impressive every year..

Monty at the first light-flash at daycam time:
Telyn soon took over, this was a short fishless visit from Monty:
Monty spent an age preening, with precautionary peers now 'n then:
He said something rude to the visitors...
And scarpered:
Flounder incoming:
Outgoing:
To perch:
Telyn brought a stick :o
Monty escapted to his shed:
???
I bet this was from earlier but they've all dragged up in random order >:(
Camperson did this specially for you, CIRRUS ;)
More rain:
Monty flew to take over on the nest but we missed the changeover:
Background material?
Telyn disappeared for a while then appeared on the perch - during her long preen we never got both her and the photographer in the observatory in focus at the same time:
That was the situation @ 15:22.

After SANDRA's snap Monty got to incubate for a while, here's Telyn taking over again:
At about 01:40 Monty flew in and looked over the back, as if he was suspicious:
He seemed to go into protective mode. It didn't sound particularly windy.
Tucked himself in closely:
After an hour and a half, time to go:
After a check:
Aila - oops! TELYN (thanks, MIKE!) won't wake up and let him incubate:
He flew to a nearby perch, we heard a good clatter. I had also heard a Tawny "out there" at some stage.
