Just reading a few of your posts now, how terribly sad that one of the chicks has died.
Following ospreys is not easy, and no matter how many years we do it, this will be my 9th year, the loss of each and every one of them, adult or chick it never ceases to strike like a blow to the stomach, every loss is heartbreaking.
Birdies LG DU update.

The Osprey Weekly - a digest of all the osprey news from the week just gone
Hello everyone, never nice to loose a little chick and very sad. I was so sure that he/she was going to grow big too, as was very fiesty and getting enough food.. I did a scroll back and saw Lassie first move the chick at around 1 AM in the morning. Alas it is just as well that we don't know what lies ahead in the day to day life of ospreys!! Captured a wee visitor, just to lighten the mood a tad
Not sure what is on cam lens ? Butterfly , Moth? any guesses?
